WaterMotion

WaterMotion is a group water therapy for those with arthritis, fibromyalgia, joint replacement, back issues and pre & post joint surgery.  It is also used as the first step for getting back into exercise with its gentle cardio.

Program focus:
  • Work-at-your-own pace - whatever that is.  We celebrate a moving body!
  • You will build strength, increase flexibility and balance.
  • You will gain endurance and stronger core muscles to protect your back.
  • The water's natural resistance and buoyancy allow for movement in the water that may be difficult on land.
  • Read Why Water?
  • Professionaly trained instructors will motivate and educate you.
  • Designed under the guidance of a physical therapist and orthopedic surgeon.
  • Does not require swimming skills.

“I love the sincerity displayed by all of the staff members. When I first began coming, I felt like the instructors actually read my medical card. More than once, I was asked if I was okay. "Within your own range of motion" is a great phrase-used many times. One is never made to feel as though he/she is not putting forth enough effort. Further, if one asks for guidance, instructors are always willing to help.  Aquarobics and WaterMotion water therapy is the best kept secret. More people should try it!”

Our programming is work-at-you-own-pace.  Our instructors will teach at 125%, but you work out at your own level - easier to harder, depending on how you feel.

We want you to strive for your best range of motion.

WaterMotion focuses on core strength to improve balance and create stronger backs.

Instructors teach out of water so you can hear and see.
